Dear Professional,

What is the difference between parameter field and user parameters? As When I build report with wizard and type the SQL Statement with parameters, they shown only in the user parameters. Then what is the parameter field and its' uses? Under what condition that I need to use parameter fields? Can I ignore this parameter fields function?

As I see it, a user parameter is what you define under the "User parameters" node of the Object Navigator. Parameter field is its representation on the Parameter Form.
