When i open report file (rdf) in excel i can't see the same format like header.

hi,
if u want to open the rdf file in excel format then the layout will not be tha same as u desired. To obtain the desired format it is always usefull to write PL/SQL Package for it. Then u'll get the desired o/p with all the layout in place.
