Hi,
Can any one help me whether the performance of report will be affected if we use views in reports?

Theoretically, no (if a view is properly created, all underlying tables properly indexed etc.). From my experience, yes - sometimes significantly. But that might be because of lousy CREATE VIEW statement (which I wasn't allowed to change).
